Christmas is coming so quickly, so it’s definitely the time to stock up on gifts if you haven’t done so already. One person that you can’t forget to shop for is your grandma! I know they can be really tough to buy for – sometimes it seems like they have everything they need and don’t want anything at all! But, you still want to get something for them to make the holidays extra special. Here are some cute and fun Grandma gift ideas that they are bound to love.
Books or Movies – what Grandma doesn’t love cuddling up on the couch with a good book or movie? I recently sent my Grandma The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and she read it and loved it. Nicholas Sparks books are always a great one, too (I still haven’t read his new one, Two by Two, but my mom and sister did and said it was good!). As for movies – a love story or something funny is always a safe bet. I really love The Holiday as a Christmas classic or loved the movie of Me Before You (disclaimer: I did not read the book because I thought it would be too Fault in Our Stars-esque for me). Whatever your grandma’s personality is, I’m sure there is a book or movie genre to go with it.
Pajamas and slippers – I mean, I think this is a great gift for any gal, but maybe that’s because I just love being in my pajamas. But, what grandma doesn’t appreciate a cozy new pair of jammies? I love the PJ Salvage sets for people of all ages and The Company Store has some great sets as well. For slippers, these Ugg Cheetah print ones have some flair or for something simpler, this set is perfect.
Something sentimental – a sentimental gift, even if it’s something small, makes a great gift for a grandma. A good go-to is a framed photo – I love the Mariposa frames or you can’t go wrong with a Mackenzie-Childs frame, either! For something more Christmas themed, these frame ornaments are so cute and your grandma would love pulling these out to put on her tree year after year. This Etsy shop also has super cute grandparent gifts and really cute mementos, too!
Candles or home goods – my grandma loves candles, so one year we got her a candle warmer and she loved it! I love how you can pick all the differently scented tarts to go along with it, too. For other home goods, a cozy throw blanket or a run-of-the-mill candle are always perfect, too.
Time together – spending time with your grandma is probably the best gift you can give her this holiday season. Watch a movie together, go on a coffee or spa date, cook a meal together, or just take some time to catch up. You both will have fun doing it, and that’s what the season is actually about 🙂
