Like I said in yesterday’s post, I have been trying to eat healthier. Especially when I am packing snacks and lunch to bring to work, it can be tough to be creative. But, I don’t want to bring the same thing day after day.
That being said, I have found a good mix of go to healthy snacks to prevent getting bored.
Here are some of my favorite healthy snack ideas:
Apples and peanut butter – they even have the little to-go packs of peanut butter now which make it so easy! Plus, peanut butter is a great source of protein.
Celery and cheese – I love these Laughing Cow cheese wedges. It is the perfect amount with a few sticks of celery. They have a bunch of different flavors. My favorite is the pepper jack flavor – but it is pretty spicy!
Raisins – this one sounds kind of boring, but this is easy to just throw in my bag or keep in my desk in case I get hungry. I think you either love raisins or hate them, and I’m a fan.
Granola bars – I’ve always loved granola bars, and recently I tried the Quaker Oats Quinoa granola bar and loved it. It’s really yummy and gives you energy to power through the day.
