Zoodle Obsession

I have been trying to eat and cook healthier, especially since the new year. After the holidays, I definitely needed a detox as I ate so much unhealthy (albeit yummy) food.

One of the delicious and fun new foods I’ve been loving are zoodles. In case you haven’t heard of them, these are spiralized zucchini noodles. When I first heard about them, a blogger kind of sold them as a spaghetti replacement. I’m not going to lie – these taste nothing like spaghetti. But they are still yummy and easy to make.

My mom bought me a little spiralizer and it works so well. You don’t need anything fancy, and you can find them at HomeGoods or Marshall’s a lot of the time. There are so many different variations of zoodles out there (thanks, Pinterest!), that you won’t get sick of these. My boyfriend was skeptical of them but ended up loving them!

Here are some great zoodle recipes that I love or are on my list to try:

Lemon Garlic Chicken Zoodles from The Iron You

Thai Peanut Zoodles from Begin with Nutrition

Avocado Zoodles with Chipotle Lime Shrimp from Dizzy, Busy, and Hungry

Chicken and Zucchini Noodle Caprese from Skinny Taste

Greek Zucchini Noodles from Sustaining the Powers
