Constant Obsessions

There are a lot of things that I get super interested in for a brief time, or in the moment, and then eventually my obsession fades out. But…there are always things that I am unwaveringly obsessed with. We all have those items in our lives, right?! Things we just can’t live without…no matter what.

When I got the idea for this post, I thought there would be an almost endless list. However, when I started writing it – I realized there are not that many items that I use every single day that I couldn’t live without. But…there were a few…

Coffee – I have coffee every single day and I am definitely obsessed with it. Someone I work with rarely ever has any coffee and that truly amazes me. My mom got us this amazing coffee maker and our favorite to brew is the Kona blend. I always find it on sale at Marshalls and TJ Maxx and whenever I find it I stock up on it.

Planner – I have a May Designs planner that I bring almost everywhere with me and write in every day. I love this planner because it is not big and bulky and is very simple. The front has some goal pages and then the month by month pages. Then, there are just blank pages for me to use, which I write tons of lists on. I had one of these for 2015 and then left it at a furniture store when we were visiting Chicago and was devastated that I lost it, so I am extra careful with this years!

Kindle – while I used to be very against e-readers, now I couldn’t imagine not having my Kindle. I am absolutely obsessed with it and use it every day. I love having it in my bag at work in case I need a break during a stressful day or want to sneak away and have a quiet lunch reading. It’s so much more compact than carrying around an actual book and holds a charge forever. I also love how I can track how much longer I’ll be reading a book for and that I can read with the light off in bed since it has the built in light on the screen.

L’Occitane Hand Cream – I know I blogged about this as one of my favorite beauty products, but I love it so much that I couldn’t leave it out of this post. Just a tiny dab works so well, and that is a life saver in the winter! It’s great how many scents they make in this now – the vanilla and cherry blossoms are two of my favorite.

A few other small things that I can’t live without are Listerine pocket pack breath strips, my watch, and Dove chocolates. What are your favorite items that you use every single day?
