One of my good friend’s sisters is having a baby any day and I just could not resist picking out a gift. I mean, who doesn’t absolutely swoon over the tiny little outfits and adorable baby hats? I know that I go absolutely nuts over all of it.
Anyways, I have so much fun picking out baby gifts. There are so many great ideas out there that are perfect for a baby and new parents. Here are some of my favorites:
Burt’s Bees Baby products – I just found a bunch of these products at Marshall’s and bought them as a gift. The Bee Essentials collection are always great gifts and I love how simple and inexpensive the products are. Another great thing about BBB is that they have a large collection of neutral baby clothes, which can sometimes be tough to find.
Piggy banks – I love these Mud Pie piggy banks because they are outside of the norm. They’re cute and whimsical and are a nice keepsake with a fun twist. I still remember the piggy bank I had when I was little! They are something that will be kept forever. I love the Princess Bunny Bank for a girl and the Giant Plane Bank for a boy.
Vera Bradley Baby Set – these are strictly for a little girl, but these Vera Bradley baby gift sets are absolutely adorable! It’s a quick and easy gift that is sure to please. I stocked up on a bunch of these when I saw them at the Vera outlet and have given them all out – everyone loved them.
Music Box – this Papyrus music box is a great gender neutral keepsake baby gift. It is not super expensive and is just an adorable little tidbit for a baby’s room.
Children’s Books – I am, of course, partial to reading…so I think it’s natural that I love giving books as a baby gift. There are so many great classic books out there that make the perfect gift. Press Here, The Day the Crayons Quit, all the Llama Llama books, the Winnie the Pooh books, and Jan Brett books are my favorite as gifts.
Nightlights – Restoration Hardware has an adorable collection of nursery night lights that would make a great gift. Some of them are a bit of a splurge, but they are so unique and special – I think they just might be worth it. For a boy’s room, I love this speedster nightlight and for a girl’s room, this butterfly light is a no-brainer. They even have perfect gender neutral ones, like this adorable bunny. I love how these can easily transition from a newborn’s nursery to a child’s room, too!
