The Best Love Stories to Read this Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day getting closer and closer, it is the best time to read some love stories! One of my guilty pleasures is a good chick lit book that centers around love. I have read so many good ones, it was hard to narrow it down to just a few suggestions, but here they are:

See Me by Nicholas Sparks – So Nicholas Sparks is pretty much the king of love stories – everyone knows that! His latest novel was, of course, a love story but it had almost a different tone to it. This one was more of a mystery than his past books, but it was still so good. It was a bit longer than many of his other novels, but it was so engaging that I couldn’t put it down. If you haven’t read it yet, this is the perfect book to read during the Valentine’s season!

The Blue Bisto by Elin Hilderbrand – this is one of my favorite books ever. I read it about a year ago on a day off from work and I remember I just couldn’t stop reading – I read it in a day! I was so intrigued by the characters and the relationships that they built throughout the novel. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a great love story.

The Guest Cottage by Nancy Thayer – I read this book over the summer and really enjoyed the story. It is a light and easy read that centers around an unlikely match.

The Sweetheart Deal by Polly Dugan – this book is another fairly quick and easy read that it centers around a story that begins with a tragedy but develops into a love story. This was a sweet story that I truly enjoyed and I was so glad to find a new author that I had never read before!

The Matchmaker by Elin Hilderbrand – Can you tell that I am obsessed with Elin Hilderbrand’s books? They make almost all of my favorites lists! I can’t help it…her books are just that great. This is one of my all time favorites of her books.
